Kansas City Kansas Community College and Kansas City Kansas Public Library partner to bring additional GED classes to the KCK community. Free GED preparation classes will be held 9a.m.-12p.m. every  Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The next enrollment will take place on March 24, 2020 at the Main Library  located at 625 Minnesota Ave. The classes do not include the actual GED exam. Please contact the library to sign up.

There will be four (4) enrollments during the year.

Mandatory orientation and testing will be held on the following days:

Enrollment 1- August 12, 13, and14

Enrollment 2 - October 14, 15, and 16

Enrollment 3 - January 13, 14, and 15

Enrollment 4 - March  24, 25 and 26

Please sign up for the GED classes before those dates.

To successfully pass the four (4) modules of the GED exam, students will study the four (4) sections of the exam:  Language Arts (RLA), Mathematical Reasoning, Science and Social Studies. This GED  class will prepare students to take the actual GED exam through any testing center in Kansas City, KS when they are ready.
