Program Description

Event Details

Join the West Wyandotte Queer and Ally Book Club for a monthly discussion of LGBTQ+ books. This month we will meet to discuss Carmen Maria Machado's memoir, In the Dream House. 

 

*Trigger and Content Warnings:*

  • Body-shaming
  • Intimate partner violence, domestic abuse/violence, toxic relationship/s, cheating, and emotional abuse
  • Sexual assault, sexual abuse, and adult-minor relationship
  • Recreational marijuana use
  • Emesis
  • Suicidal ideation

Registration is required in order to access Zoom meetings. If you have issues with registration, please contact Izzy at 913.295.8250 ext. 5107. After registration, you can pick up your copy of In the Dream House at the front desk.
