Youth grades 3-12 are invited to the South Branch Library in Conference Room A on February 22nd at 3pm for an African Music Workshop instructed by Bird Fleming. Bird Fleming is a professional percussionist and Director of the Traditional Music Society. He has designed workshops to enrich each of his performances. Attendees will learn about the role of music in African culture. A variety of instruments are brought for students to play.
