Any materials that are washed into a stormwater drain will go directly into our nearby streams and may eventually travel on into our rivers and finally our oceans. That water doesn't go to any treatment center first. Stenciling stormwater drains with this information is one way for people to learn this so that they can keep our waterways cleaner and help prevent pollution. Join us at the Schlagle Library to stencil the stormwater drain in the parking lot and learn about more ways to keep our waters cleaner!
