This is a rescheduled event that was supposed to occur on Jan 8th, 2024 at 6 P.M. The Tolkien Society of Kansas City will visit the South Branch Library to inform us about the iconic author who brought us The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit in honor of Tolkien Reading Day. The presentation, titled "Celebrating the Life of J.R.R Tolkien," will run for about forty minutes, ending with an opportunity for patrons to ask questions about Tolkien's life and legacy. Registration is NOT required but encouraged for reminders. Register now to learn more about the man known as the "father" of modern fantasy literature!
