The week of March 8th through March 14th is known as Maslenitsa week, butter week (Shrovetide) in several Eastern Slavic countries. KCK Public Library and Russian House of Kansas City will be celebrating this Spring Festival on March 14th via Zoom.

Learn about one of the brightest, funniest and most entertaining Belarusian, Russian and Ukrainian folk festivals. Learn traditions and rituals of each day of the holiday butter week.
