Join KCKPL for a virtual visit to the Cosmosphere space museum and STEM education center and take a trip back in time to the 1930's lab of Dr. Robert Goddard, the father of modern rocketry. This interactive show uses explosive demonstrations on a journey through the history of rockets. Topics include: the role of gunpowder, liquid oxygen, solid versus fuels, Dr. Goddard’s legacy, Newton’s Three Laws of Motion and the woosh jug! 

This program is a part of the West Wyandotte Passport to STEAM program series. If you attend this event make sure to get it marked off by a staff member the next time you visit the West Wyandotte Library.
