Are you starting a homeschool this year? Do you want to learn more about homeschooling in the Kansas City metro area? Are you looking for information on homeschooling resources both in your community and from your library? Join the West Wyandotte Library as we host Midwest Parent Educators in a virtual homeschool question and answer session! Our knowledgeable partners at Midwest Parent Educators will answer your questions on homeschooling your students, and the KCK Public Library will connect you with important resources to support you throughout your academic year.

Midwest Parent Educators serves homeschoolers in the greater Kansas City metro area, including many from Wyandotte, Miami, and Douglas counties in Kansas and from counties in Kansas City, Missouri. They host the yearly Midwest Parent Educators Conference and Curriculum Fair to provide families with motivation and tools for continuing the home education process. In addition, MPE connects homeschooling families for group interaction and field trips throughout the year, and provide a monthly newsletter and other resources for member families.
