People are being told constantly, especially by their physicians, to “live healthy” but it is not often explained what it really means or what it entails. So we created the QUATERLY Healthy Living Book Club. Participants will have three months to read one book and then we will discuss it as a group. (30 min)
The Healthy Living Book Club will provide people a connection to a health minded community, resources for healthy living skills, support and tools to achieve a healthier lifestyle.
Discussion of the book "What the heck should I eat by Dr. Mark Hyman" Hyman, a bestselling health author and practitioner of the “functional medicine” approach, explains why a lack of understanding about good nutrition, coupled with misleading, conflicting media hype, leads to poor food choices and makes people sick and out of shape.
