 In the last 40 years, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) became embedded in American business, education, community and social culture as a way to enable different individuals to feel a sense of belonging. However, that’s changed with DEI programs and staff being dismantled. In this session, Lewis Diuguid, a well-known columnist and former editor of the KC Star  will examine why this trend is growing and what’s being lost in this downward spiral.
