This is the gallery for the art contest: The artwork will be displayed in the display case in the Turner Recreation Center hall before getting to the library. It will be displayed October 30th through Nov 18th.


Turner Art Chronicles Fall Art Contest is taking submissions from August 31st until October 27th! Your art inspiration words are: Gratitude or What are you thankful for? Fall, Cultivate, Spooky, Harvest, Candy!

Deadline is Oct 27th to present the physical artwork or digital artwork to Turner Community Library.

Applications can be submitted online at this link: https://forms.office.com/r/cBUty1tD70
OR they can be filled out and submitted to Turner Community Library.

The winners will be contacted via the contact information provided on applications starting August October 30th or October 31st.

There are categories for ages 3 and up! We will award 12 talented winners through our 4 age group categories.

CATEGORIES: Age Group

  • MARSHMALLOW: 3 yrs to 6 yrs
  • PUMPKIN: 7 yrs to 12 yrs
  • SUNFLOWER: 13 yrs to 19 yrs
  • PINECONE: 20+ yrs

REQUIREMENTS/RULES:

1. The Artist must submit their own art.
2. No established copyrighted character should be featured in the artwork.
3. Artwork should be dry when submitted.
4. Artwork can be 2-Dimensional, 3-Dimensional, or Digital.
5. Maximum size of artwork 24" x 24"
6. No Nudity.
7. Every entry must have an application submitted.
8. One entry per artist.
9. Artwork must have artist information on the back.

The artwork will be displayed in the display case in the Turner Recreation Center hall before getting to the library. It will be displayed October 30th through Nov 18th.

Additional Notes:

  1. MARSHMALLOW category options: They have the option to decorate a pumpkin template. 
  2. If your artwork is digital, you can email it to ogalarza-lopez@kckpl.org.
  3. The prize list is downloadable to view.
