Event Details

Celebrate the start of Summer Reading with a FREE movie!  Join Kansas City, Kansas Public Library at Boulevard Drive-In to celebrate the start of our Summer Reading Program on the evening of June 7th. Gates will open at 7:00 pm, pre-show entertainment begins at 8:00 pm and the movie will start at 9:15 pm. Pre-show entertainment will include videos highlighting library services, a trivia contest you can participate in using your phone, and an interview with Rep. Sharice Davids about her new children’s book Sharice’s Big Voice. Each car of attendees will receive a signed copy of the book, along with summer reading logs and other information on participating in the Summer Reading Program.
