Event Details

Explore science and nature at the lake with a fun-filled week of specially designed activities for children ages 7-11.  You may come one day or every day!  Class size is limited and online registration is required.

Join us as we step back in time to learn how Kansas was vastly different compared to what we see in our own backyards today.  We will learn about the three types of rocks, we will test rocks and minerals for identification, we will go outside to observe rocks and minerals in the park, then participants will build a small rock collection of their own to take home!
