Program Description

Event Details

A nature journal is a space where students can record their observations, their thoughts, and their feelings about what they see in nature. It's a space for students to learn and grow. By practicing journaling, your students nurture their creativity and build their critical thinking and scientific skills. In this Schlagle After School, we will be making our very own nature journals from natural found objects, recycled materials and shiny things! We will then go outside and you will be shown how you can best use your nature journal, whether it is to draw creatures, sound map, write poetry, journal and more!
