Nature Journaling

Bring a journal and notebook and be inspired by the lake, woods, & wildflowers of Wyandotte County Lake Park. We'll look at different styles of nature journals to spark or enhance your writing or drawing and then spend some time finding a spot to sink into the outdoors and journal. We will have colored pencils for you to borrow if you would like, but also feel free to bring whatever art or writing utensils you would prefer to use. Whether you want to begin your first nature journal or you have been nature journaling for years, we'll share helpful tips and find inspiration outside on a Saturday at the lake.
