Join us for a fun storytime as local author Jill Ballou reads her two children's books, City Market! and Safe At City Market. These stories celebrate and promote cultural diversity. Jill wrote the books after visiting Kansas City's City Market and her inspiration from our very own local community event. The stories reflect real characters and authentic places in the market. This program offers the valuable experience of hearing an author read their own words. Patrons will also be able to ask questions about her books and writing process.
