For the month of January, we will be watching westerns set primarily in snowy landscapes.  The feeling of isolation is heightened in these tales of outlaws, sheriffs, and bounty hunters.

On this night, we are watching Sydney Pollack's 1972 film "Jeremiah Johnson" starring Robert Redford, Will Geer, and Delle Bolton.

A mountain man who wishes to live the life of a hermit becomes the unwilling object of a long vendetta by the Crow tribe and proves to be a match for their warriors in single combat on the early frontier.
