For the month of May, we will be showing movies starring Humphrey Bogart.  Bogart had a movie career that spanned 4 decades, but he didn't become a screen icon until his 40s.  By the end of the century, the American Film Institute ranked him as the greatest male star of classic American cinema.

On this night, we are watching Bogie in Nicholas Ray's 1950 film "In a Lonely Place" also starring Gloria Grahame and Frank Lovejoy.

A potentially violent screenwriter is a murder suspect until his lovely neighbor clears him. However, she soon starts to have her doubts.
