For the month of October, we are showing horror movies made by Hammer Films.  The British studio made a name for themselves by updating the Universal monster movies of the 1930s.  They launched the careers of actors such as Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, Oliver Reed, and Donald Sutherland.

We will be watching Terence Fisher's 1957 film "The Curse of Frankenstein" starring Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee.

While awaiting execution for murder, Baron Victor Frankenstein tells the story of a creature he built and brought to life - only for it to behave not as he intended.
