Library in the Park is back! Come celebrate our community at an all-new location!

The 2021 Library in the Park's featured author is local teacher Kristy Nerstheimer, who wrote The Greatest Thing: A Story About Buck O'Neil. We will be giving away free copies of the book and Kristy Nerstheimer will be available to sign them.

This year, we will be hosting a giant book and movie sale! We will have hundreds of items available for you to browse. Books will be $5 a bag, and all individual items and be purchased for $1 each. The sale will be cash only.

The other activities this year include music, library programming, craft kits, and more!

Heart to Heart International will be giving free Covid-19 Vaccinations at our Library in the Park event on September 25. You can walk in or pre-register at https://kckpl0925.timetap.com. If you prefer to not use your address when registering, use the Main Library address.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we will not be able to offer the taco contest this year, but we'll have some smaller treats to enjoy.

Visit libraryinthepark.org for more info.
