The Joplin UFO Encounter is presented by veteran UFO researcher Margie Kay. This event was one of the biggest cases in the history of Ufology, and it happened in Joplin, Missouri. Four witnesses, including two pilots, had a very close encounter with a large craft which flew overhead at low altitude, then apparently landed in a nearby field. Margie Kay is the Assistant State Director for Missouri MUFON and the Director of Quest Investigation Group. She has investigated hundreds of UFO cases. Margie is the author of the books The Kansas City UFO Flaps and Unexplained in Missouri. She is currently working on a documentary film about unexplained events in the state.
