Event Details

Become a nature detective at the Mr. & Mrs. F.L. Schlagle Library for this month's nature journaling program. Stop by the library to pick up readings from "January Thaw" an essay out of Aldo Leopold's A Sand County Almanac. Analyze tracks and animal signs to create a timeline and species key of what animals visited during the crime. Use your best detective skills and animal identification books from our collection to solve the mystery. This is a self-guided program; all materials are available for pickup at the library along with a free children's nature journal.
