John R Brinkley, known as the Kansas Goat Doctor, was a self-proclaimed goat-gland doctor who promoted his fraudulent cures through his nationwide radio show.  Brinkley, his clinic, and professed cures were renowned in the 1920s and 30's.  Bryan Whitehead, Professor of Media at KCKCC, will discuss this Kansas huckster's strange and compelling story.
