Girls in the 6th through 12th grades: Have you ever wondered how computers work, how video games are created, or what's behind the scenes of your smartphone? Are you creative? Are you interested in computer science? Do you want to change the world through leadership, teamwork, and computer programming? Join us for Girls Who Code!

This fall, tween and teen girls interested in learning coding are invited to join the West Wyandotte Library's first-ever 6th through 12th grade Girls Who Code club! Club meetings will take place on Thursday evenings at 6:00 starting on August 29, 2019 and ending on December 19, 2019. Bring a parent or guardian and join us for an informational session and register for the club on August 1 at 6:00 in the Craft Room! We will discuss Girls Who Code's mission, what we'll cover in our club meetings, and amazing, world-changing projects created by girls who code.
