Join Kansas City, Kansas Public Library for a conversation with authors Kiki Swinson and Tiffany Warren, followed by a book signing. A limited number of free copies of each authors books will be given away to the first to arrive. Doors will open at 1:00 pm.

Kiki Swinson was born and raised in Portsmouth, Virginia. She discovered her flair for writing twelve years ago after completing her first novel, Mad Shambles, while serving a five-year sentence at a federal prison. After being released in December 1996, Kiki later went on to self-publish Mad Shambles. Her passion for writing didn’t stop there. Writing feverishly into the wee hours of the night, she completed her second novel, Wifey, which was published by Melodrama Publishing. After the success of Wifey, Kiki penned the sequels I’m Still Wifey and Life After Wifey, as well as The Candy Shop and A Sticky Situation.

Tiffany L. Warren is an author, playwright, songwriter, mother and wife. Her debut novel, What a Sista Should Do, was released in June of 2005. Her second book, Farther than I Meant to Go, Longer than I Meant to Stay, was a national bestseller. She is also the author of The Bishop's Daughter, In The Midst of It All, Don’t Tell a Soul and The Replacement Wife. In 2006, Tiffany and her husband, Brent, founded Warren Productions and released gospel musicals, What a Sista Should Do and The Replacement Wife. Tiffany is the visionary behind the Faith and Fiction Retreat. Tiffany resides in Maryland with her husband, Brent, and their five children.
