Event Details

The Eclipse maxes at 1:08pm—Before and after there will be:

  • Snacks
  • Lawn games
  • Goodie bags
  • Suncatcher crafts
  • A raffle for a kid’s engineering kit

We will also be giving away free solar eclipse glasses that MUST be worn when looking at the sun!

The American Academy of Ophthalmology says you can look at the eclipse if:
-You use approved glasses made by 1 of 5 companies (provided free by KCKPL)
-The glasses have no scratches or damaged areas
-You have the glasses on at all times when looking up
