Program Description

Event Details

With cooler evenings approaching, a favorite past time for Fall is to spend time around a campfire. Are your fire starting skills up to par or could they use some work? In this program designed for teens and adults, learn the basics of what every fire needs, different methods of starting one and how to build a successful fire.

Participants will use a ferrous rod to practice starting fires and as a group will build a campfire in the fire pit behind the Schlagle Library. For ages 12 and up only; registration required.
