Join us at the Mr & Mrs. F.L. Schlagle library for our Black History Month Celebration of this year's theme of Black Health & Wellness. During the program, participants will learn about the science of dance and drums. Work with teachers from Esoke Cultural Arts Center to learn century-old dances that symbolize concepts like farming, harvesting & celebrating humanity's relationship with the Earth. Join us for a day of celebration and learn about the history and culture of West African dance. Don't forget to dress comfortably as participants will be asked to engage in dance as part of the workshop. 

This program is intended for ages 5+. Advanced registration is required.
