Get ready for your next expedition, explorers: adventure through ancient Egypt with the West Wyandotte Library! Explore the culture and language of the ancient Egyptians with our Ancient Egypt Activity Bag, available at the West Wyandotte Library while supplies last.

What’s in the bag?

  • DIY Cartouche Bookmark: Draw your own hieroglyphs on a piece of real papyrus just like the ancient Egyptians did!
  • DIY Pharaoh Necklace: Color and create a necklace like the kings and queens of ancient Egypt wore.
  • 3D Pyramid Project: Build a paper pyramid of your own! What will you store inside it?
  • Three coloring sheets

Activity bags are designed for ages 5-10. They are available while supplies last starting July 8, 2020. Please call 913-295-8250 ext. 5 to reserve your activity bag, or request one at your next curbside pickup! One kit per child ages 5-10, please.
