Program Description

Event Details

Before Kansas was full of prairies and forests, it was once an ancient sea. Explore what Kansas was like 65 million years ago when the land was a shallow ocean called the Permian sea. In our program, we will learn all about the ancient organisms that once lived here in Kansas that are now fossilized remains today. We'll discuss how and why fossils are made and be able to take home our own fossil replicas. 

*Masks are required indoors for anyone ages 5+ per USD 500 guidelines*
