For the month of February, we will be watching movies from the 50s and 60s with black leading actors.  Inspired by Elvis Mitchell's documentary "Is That Black Enough for You?!?", these are a few of the pioneers that paved the way for the black actors of today.  Special note: Sidney Poitier is not included as I have already done a month dedicated to him.

On this night, we are watching Arnold Laven's 1958 film "Anna Lucasta" starring Eartha Kitt, Henry Scott, and Sammy Davis Jr.

A young woman struggling with a sordid past finds that her biggest enemy had larger demons than she did.
