Judge Bradley Sr. was the first African American to graduate from the Univerity of Kansas School of Law in 1887. He became the first elected African American judge in Kansas City, KS.  A charter member of the Niagara Movement (the forerunner of the NAACP) and one of the founders of Douglass Hospital, he wrote several treatises on political economy. He was the manager and editor of the Wyandotte Echo.  Learn about this fascinating and significant local figure and the impact he made on our society today.
